Billed as "Italy's most popular half-marathon", the Roma-Ostia Half Marathon has been going for more than forty years and is something of an institution in Rome: the 2017 race will be the 43rd edition. It will next be run on the .
The route of the Roma-Ostia Half Marathon changed back in 2011: it now starts near the PalaLottomatica (also known as Palazzo dello Sport) to the south of Rome, runs through EUR, covers the full length of via Cristoforo Colombo, and finishes by the sea in Ostia.
The 2017 race begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, 12th March, with runners starting in waves between 9:00 and 9:30.
Registration for the Roma-Ostia Half Marathon in open now, and the deadline is 16th February 2017. As usual, registration fees vary according to when you register, and your payment method. The different levels are as follows:
- € 26.00 (until September 29th, 2016)
- € 31.00 (until December 1st, 2016)
- € 36.00 (until February 16th, 2017) (closing date for registrations)
