Rome's annual photography festival takes place over a couple of months each spring, and features a variety of photographic exhibitions taking place around the city.

The Gallery of Modern Art - one of the many exhibition locations for Fotografia 2007The theme of the 2007 festival was "Questione Italiana" or "The Italian Question," an investigation into contemporary photography in Italy. Exhibitions included:
- Tempo Libero by Massimo Siragusa - at the Auditorium (3 May - 24 June)
- Congo Reportraits by Laura Salvinelli - at Museo Centrale Montemartini (13 April - 13 May)
- Eyewitness: The Bigger Picture by Roger Bamber, Dan Chung, Andrew Hasson, David Levene, Graeme Robertson, Christian Sinbaldi and Sean Smith - at the British School at Rome (6 April - 2 May)
- Giochi della Memoria by Moira Ricci & Paolo Ventura and Libera Me by Alex Majoli - both at the Gallery of Modern Art (6 April - 3 June)
- Figure by Giogia Fiorio - at Sala Santa Rita (11 April - 4 May)
