A briefer version of the Beginner's Italian book, this book aims to teach the bare basics needed for a Italian holiday or business trip. The book aims to teach basic Italian in 35 minutes a day over six weeks, and is simply but comprehensively laid out. The over-familiar, jokey style can be a little wearing but it achieves its aims by teaching words and phrases to beginners impressively quickly with the minimum of effort.
