I’ve just noticed (because Amazon emailed me about it) that Aprile, Nanni Moretti’s 1998 follow-up to his terrific film Caro Diario, is being released on August 13 on (Region 2) DVD in the UK. Here it is on Amazon.co.uk.

I can’t see much about extras or that sort of thing on the Amazon listing, but it’s good to know that at least it’s available now. I’ll be adding a review to the section on Italian films set in Rome as soon as my copy arrives…

EDIT: I’ve just realised that Il Caimano / The Caiman is being released on DVD on the same day, so August 13 is going to be Nanni Moretti Day in the UK…
